Applications are now open for the ESAC Summer School on AI in Cancer Research, taking place in Corfu, Greece, from 3–7 September 2026 (Rostodamo Hotel and Ionian Academy).

Organised in partnership with the Hellenic Cooperative Oncology Group, this five-day programme will bring together 50 participants from biomedical, clinical, computational and engineering backgrounds around foremost experts in the field. Through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, networking and challenge-based group work on topics proposed by our faculty and sponsors, participants will explore:

• Translating clinical needs into AI research questions
• Future directions for AI in cancer care
• AI in preclinical research, discovery and validation
• Clinical translation, deployment and adoption
• Ethics, governance, regulation and the value of AI in oncology
